That’s more churro money, friends!

I have a bunch of hotel reviews that might be helpful for you if you’re still trying to decide where you’d like to stay.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

This new to Disneyland attraction has been incredibly popular at the Walt Disney World Resort! It’s so fun to have it at Disneyland as part of the Disney 100th anniversary!
Step into the whimsical universe of a Mickey Mouse short and hitch a ride on Engineer Goofy’s train. What could possibly go wrong?
Cue hilarious hijinks! A relaxing train ride suddenly turns into a zany, free-ranging romp through ever-changing and rearranging cartoon scenes. You’ll quickly learn that anything can happen in this out-of-control animated world.
But don’t worry, with friends like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, you’re bound to get back on track. All aboard!
Disneyland website
How to Experience this Attraction
A virtual queue is in place for this attraction. Guests will need to use the Disneyland app to enter the attraction. A standby queue is not available at this time. Each Guest can enter the virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours.
Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return, based on the availability of the experience. View important information about the virtual queue.
Guests may also purchase individual Lightning Lane entry for this attraction. Lightning Lane entry purchases are limited in availability, are subject to change or closure, may vary by date, and are not guaranteed.
Mickey’s Toontown
The reimagined Mickey’s Toontown is opening up on March 8th, 2023! It will feature lots of interactive elements to explore along with lots of grassy areas for families to relax! You can still meet Mickey and his friends here, so plan on spending time enjoying this fun new space!
Disney 100th Anniversary Decorations
The decorations for the Disney 100 celebration are beautiful! Both parks, Downtown Disney District, and the Disneyland Resort hotels have been adorned with beautiful platinum-infused decor! They really add so much to the Disney 100th anniversary!
There’s a platinum statue of Mickey Mouse in Town Square, as well as a platinum statue of Minnie Mouse in front of Plaza Inn. Along Main Street, U.S.A., lamp posts are decorated with brilliant banners and bunting that feature the 3 good fairies from Sleeping Beauty, as well as the iconic wishing star. Sleeping Beauty Castle is adorned with elegant platinum banners and bunting, accented by a magnificent cabochon featuring the 3 good fairies who illuminate it with their pixie dust. Two majestic water fountains grace either side of the moat, while a wishing star sparkles from the tower above.
Over in California Adventure, find an 8-foot medallion at the end of Buena Vista Street. Carthay Circle has a beautiful backdrop perfect for photos and Hollywood land has enchanting embellishments inspired by Disney films from the past 100 years.
Downtown Disney has shimmering banners and vibrant botanical displays. Don’t miss the 15-foot new Mickey statue on the West end! You’ll want a picture with that!
Disney 100th Anniversary Entertainment
There’s some great entertainment happening at Disneyland as part of the Disney 100th anniversary! Some new nighttime spectaculars are happening as part of the Disney 100 celebration! You are going to want to make sure you save time to enjoy all the entertainment. Disney does a great job with entertainment and it’s always a highlight of my Disney vacations!
Wondrous Journeys

Wondrous Journeys takes place at Disneyland each night(weather permitting).
Gaze in wonder as Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. become a marvelous canvas for 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios storytelling. Thrill as talented artists transform empty pages brimming with possibility into beloved Disney characters and vivid animated worlds awash with magic.
All of this and more is brought to life by soaring music, stunning state-of-the-art projection technology—and on select nights, sensational pyrotechnics!
For over 100 years, Walt Disney Animation Studios has unlocked a special kind of wonder in our lives. These films have inspired us to dream bigger, unleash our spirit of adventure, discover the power within—and realize that it’s kind of fun to do the impossible.
Wondrous Journeys is an enchanting celebration of the wishers, dreamers, and artists at Walt Disney Animation Studios who have shared their imagination and talents with the world.
Disneyland website
Select nights will also include fireworks! Make sure you check the Disneyland app for show times while you’re visiting.
Here’s some great information on where to watch fireworks at Disneyland.
World Of Color- One

World of Color- One takes place at California Adventure(weather permitting)
It takes only a single ripple to make a huge impact. After all, a ripple can generate a wave—and a wave can power an ocean of change.
Many Disney and Pixar characters have dared to make waves and change their world for the better. In World of Color – ONE, their stories take center stage—unfolding amid a breathtaking blend of dancing water and incredible special effects.
World of Color – ONE celebrates the rich storytelling legacy begun by Walt Disney a century ago, bringing to spectacular life moments from favorite films including The Lion King, Moana, Ratatouille, Soul, Star Wars, The Avengers , and more.
Come experience the first World of Color to feature characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Star Wars , and more!
Disneyland website
You can join the virtual queue to make a reservation for World Of Color- One at noon via the Disneyland app. If you’re unable to get a reservation, you can still usually watch it standby. Just head over to the show about 40 minutes before it starts and ask a cast member if you can watch it standby. They can usually accommodate standby guests.
Magic Happens Parade

Beginning February 24th, the beloved Magic Happens Parade will be back at Disneyland for the Disney 100th anniversary!
As part of the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort, celebrate the return of this unforgettable spectacle that reminds us you don’t need wings to fly, shooting stars are for wishes and magic doesn’t end at midnight!
With a wave of his wand, Mickey Mouse leads a cavalcade of fabulous floats, whimsically costumed performers, and popular Disney pals around the park and into your hearts—all while moving to a high-energy contemporary musical score that puts a spin on classic Disney hits. In addition, a stirring song co-composed by singer-songwriter Todrick Hall brings some of your favorite Disney tales to life like never before.
Watch Moana ride the crest of a beautiful wave in her voyager canoe, followed by Coco’s guitar-strumming Miguel joined by his dog Danté and other fantastical spirit animals, and behold the enchanted forest from Frozen 2 as Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven pass by. The parade’s grand finale commemorates memorable moments from Disney classics in an incredible procession that’s not to be missed!

Disney 100th Anniversary Characters

Mickey Mouse and his pals have festive new outfits to help them celebrate the Disney 100th anniversary! Make sure you grab a picture with the Disney characters in their celebration outfits. I’m especially excited to check out Donald duck in his new clothes! Find more information about character interactions and finding popular characters at Disneyland here.
Disney 100th Anniversary Merchandise

Of course, Disney has lots of fun merchandise to help them celebrate the Disney 100th anniversary! Looking for Mickey ears or spirit jerseys? Maybe you’re wanting a cute Disney 100 loungefly or hoodie? Whatever you’re looking for, you’re sure to find it in the Disney 100th anniversary merchandise collection! There are so many great things to choose from, might want to save extra room in your suitcase to bring it all home.
Disney 100th Anniversary food
All the specialty food might be my favorite part of the Disney 100th anniversary celebration! Here’s a full guide to all the amazing offerings! I’ve also got a free printable that you can take to the park with you so you don’t miss anything!
