How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Step into the Viking village of Berk and soar with dragons in this highly themed, family-friendly land.

Caro-Seuss-el

Doctor Doom’s Fearfall

Part roller coaster, part water flume, this ride combines the fun of classic cartoons with edge-of-your-seat action. You’ll slosh your way through twists and turns along with lovably laughable Royal Canadian Mountie, Dudley Do-Right. As you approach a nail-biting 75-foot drop, get ready to whoosh down the track for the biggest splash of your life.

Flight of the Hippogriff

Take the winding path towards Hagrid’s hut, where you may hear Fang barking as you pass. Pteranodon Flyers

With no sudden or scary movements, this ride is perfect for younger guests not ready for big-kid thrills.

The Amazing Adventures Of Spider-Man

The Cat in the Hat

Who hasn’t wished they could disappear into a Dr. Seuss story? Now you can. Grab a seat and swerve this way and that through one of Dr. Seuss’s most beloved classics. Each scene has been vividly re-created with colorful characters and crazy motion as you twist from room to room, trying to clean up after The Cat in the Hat before Mother comes home.

The High in the Sky Seuss Trolly Train Ride!

The Incredible Hulk Coaster

You’ve volunteered to take part in a science experiment based on Dr. Bruce Banner’s research—but a blast of gamma radiation changes everything. Hang on as this high-speed, red-line rampage smashes its way through the sky.

Volcano Bay

Honu of the Honu ika Moana

Just like the ancient Waturi people who rode the ocean waves on friendly sea turtles, you can enjoy this twisting, turning, multi-person slide. On Honu, you can surf the underwater currents on a five-passenger raft, speeding through an open flume, then streaking along two massive walls.

ika Moana of the Honu ika Monana

Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides

Join Kala and Tai Nui where sea and sky meet and take a leap of faith from high atop the volcano. Twin trap doors plunge two guests down intertwining tubes before sending them joyfully splashing into the turquoise waters below.

Ko’okiri Body Plunge

Kopiko Wai Winding River

Take a slow ride on the Kopiko Wai Winding River through the tropical landscape of Universal’s Volcano Bay, a land full of surprises. Sprays of water surprise along the way, and beneath the lava rocks, Stargazer’s Cavern reveals the magical night sky above.

Krakatau Aqua Coaster

Honorary Waturi can experience the power of Krakatau on this amazing ride. Four-person canoes slide upward through the mists and into the dark twists and turns within the volcano before emerging with a plunge through a shimmering waterfall.

Maku of the Maku Puihi Round Raft Rides

Enter the dramatic lava-tube path on this five-person raft ride. Maku slides at high speeds through a volcanic gorge before spinning around bowl-like formations. When a geyser blasts, you’re sucked into a watery vortex and deposited into a calm pool at the canyon’s end.

Ohno of Ohyah & Ohno Drop Slides

Puihi of the Maku Puihi Round Raft Rides

This five-person rafting ride will get your heart pumping. Enter the dramatic lava-tube path and test your bravery on Puihi, where you careen through a dark, winding cavern. Suddenly, you feel the stomach-flipping thrill of zero-gravity hang time as you explode out into the far side of an immense funnel, then splash your way to safety at the bottom.

Puka Uli Lagoon

This relaxing leisure pool features playful elements that even the tiniest Waturi can enjoy, like tropical bongo drums and spraying jets of water. Set beside the splash pool for the Ohyah & Ohno Body Slides, you’ll have a great view of all the fun as riders splash down from above.

Punga Racers

A favorite among Waturi children, Punga Racers send single riders on a body slide down four lanes through underwater sea caves. Among Waturi children, one of the best-loved legendary heroes is Punga, the playful son of Tangaroa, god of the sea, and Mahuika, goddess of fire.

Raki of Taniwha Tubes

There’s a place where the puka trees grow abnormally tall, with strange snakelike trunks. Inspired by their twisting roots, the Waturi built these two twisting blue water slides. Riders can try both tracks, but beware—mischievous tiki statues spray jets of water when you least expect it.

TeAwa The Fearless River

Head to Hammerhead Beach and take a thrilling whitewater ride through the heart of the volcano and down a run in Rainforest Village. Put on your life vest and race along a roaring, watery onslaught of churning rapids and chopping waves.

The Reef

 A clear plexi tube shoots straight through the 5.5-foot deep shallows, which feature its own private waterfall perfect for frolicking. It’s the ideal place for leisure lovers in search of an idyllic setting to while away the day.

Tonga of Taniwha Tubes

The Waturi sought to mirror their coiling path when they built these two curving green water slides. You can take on both tracks, but watch out for the playful tiki statues that surprise you with sprays of water.

There are a few things you need to know before you visit Universal Studios Orlando These things will make your visit run a bit more smoothly.

Accessibility Information

If you’re looking for accessibility information for any of the Universal Studios Orlando rides or attractions, you can find it on the Universal Studios Orlando website.

Safety Restraint Size Restrictions

Some Universal Studios Orlando rides cannot accommodate guests of all sizes. Some attractions use safety restraints that may not accommodate certain people due to their body shape or size. Guests whose waistlines are 40″ (102cm) or greater may not be accommodated at select attractions. A test seat is available in the front of the attraction entrance to assist Guests in determining their ability to ride.

Loose Articles

Due to the nature of some attractions, loose articles are not permitted. Some Universal Studios Orlando rides even require guests to pass through a metal detector to make sure they are not carrying loose articles. Loose articles are things such as cell phones, photography devices, umbrellas, and keys Free lockers are available at the entrance to these attractions for you to use to store your belongings.  

Motion Sickness

There are quite a few at Universal Studios Orlando that utilize 3D/4D technology. These types of motion simulator attractions can cause motion sickness for some guests. If you or someone in your group is susceptible to motion sickness, make sure you take some type of motion sickness medication first thing in the morning to avoid getting sick later in the day. If your motion sickness is severe, you may need to skip certain attractions.

Universal Express Pass

The Universal Express Pass is a special ticket that allows you to skip the standby line once per attraction per day. This pass can save you a lot of time waiting in long lines for the most popular rides. It is expensive and not necessary. If you add it to your vacation, you’ll save time in line on most Universal Studios Orlando rides, but don’t feel like you have to have it. You’ll have a great time on your visit either way.

Universal CityWalk

Make sure you save some time to enjoy the Universal CityWalk. We had so much fun checking it out while we were visiting Universal Studios Orlando. Here you’ll find lots of great shops, restaurants, and even a movie theater! There are lots to see and do at Universal CityWalk. My favorite place to eat here is The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen! It’s pretty delicious. Reservations may be required for the Chocolate Emporium, but there are lots of other great places to eat that don’t require a reservation.

My favorite part is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I just love exploring Diagon Alley, riding the Hogwarts Express and drinking butter beer!
