Easy Cherry Dump Cake
- 1 Can(21 oz) cherry pie filling (or 4 cups of homemade cherry pie filling)
- 1 Box(15.25 ounces) yellow or white cake mix
- 1/2 Cup butter, melted
- 1/2 Cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Add the Cherry FillingSpread the cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. If using fresh cherries, mix them with a little sugar before adding them. Mix vanilla into filling if you're using it. Add the Cake MixEvenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the cherry filling. Do not stir; let it sit on top. Drizzle Butter & SyrupPour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, ensuring as much coverage as possible for even baking. BakeBake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. The edges should be slightly crisp. Cool & ServeLet the cake cool for a few minutes before serving.
