If you’re looking for an affordable way to stay on property at Walt Disney World without sacrificing the magic, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort might be just what you’re after. This fun, sporty Value Resort celebrates everything from football and baseball to surfing and tennis—all with that larger-than-life Disney touch. I recently stayed here and filmed a full tour, and today I’m breaking down what to expect from a stay at All-Star Sports Resort.

Overview of All-Star Sports Resort
Disney’s All-Star Sports is one of three Value Resorts in the “All-Star” family, located in the Animal Kingdom resort area. It’s the first of the All-Star Resorts and has a strong athletic theme, making it a popular pick for school groups, sports teams, and budget-conscious families.
There are five themed sections at the resort:
- Touchdown! (football)
- Center Court (tennis)
- Home Run Hotel (baseball)
- Surf’s Up! (surfing)
- Hoops Hotel (basketball)
Giant helmets, surfboards, whistles, and baseball bats are part of the oversized décor that makes this resort feel like a playful slice of Disney magic.
Room Details
Rooms at All-Star Sports Resort are compact but functional, recently refreshed, and include:
- Two queen beds (or one queen + one pull-down)
- A mini-fridge
- Coffee maker
- Large TV
- Plenty of USB outlets
- Updated bathrooms with sliding doors for privacy
While these rooms are smaller than Deluxe or Moderate resorts, they work great for those who plan to spend most of their time in the parks.

Dining Options
All-Star Sports Resort has one main dining location: End Zone Food Court. Here, you’ll find:
- Grab-and-go options
- Classic breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare
- A variety of kid-friendly choices
- Mobile ordering available through the My Disney Experience app
You’ll also find a pool bar (Team Spirits) near the main Surfboard Bay Pool for adult beverages and quick refreshments.
Transportation
As a Value Resort, All-Star Sports Resort offers complimentary Disney bus transportation to all four theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. Buses are shared with the neighboring All-Star Music and Movies Resorts during slower times, but often run frequently.
There’s no access to the Skyliner or Monorail here, so plan for slightly longer transportation times compared to Moderate or Deluxe resorts.

Amenities
While the amenities here are simple, they still offer some great options for families:
- Two themed pools: Surfboard Bay (main pool) and Grand Slam Pool (baseball-themed)
- Playground
- Game arcade
- Movie Under the Stars
- Laundry facilities
There’s no water slide or hot tub, but the pools are big, bright, and full of fun.

Who Should Stay at All-Star Sports?
This resort is best for:
- Families looking to save on lodging and splurge in the parks
- Sports-loving kids who will love the themes
- Groups and teams visiting for competitions
- Adults or solo travelers who want on-property perks without the premium price
If you’re hoping for more immersive theming (like at Art of Animation) or upgraded transportation options, you may want to consider other Disney resorts. But if price is your priority and you still want those early park entry perks, All-Star Sports Resort is a great choice.
