Now let’s dive into what makes this little pink hotel one of the best-kept secrets near Disneyland!
✨ Classic Charm & Cozy Vibes
The Candy Cane Inn has a retro feel—in the best way possible. The grounds are beautiful, with lush landscaping, colorful flowers, and a relaxing atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.
The property is clean, peaceful, and has a loyal fan base for a reason. It’s not flashy, but it’s so well cared for and has a certain nostalgic magic that’s hard to beat.

📍 Location, Location, Location!
One of the biggest perks? It’s walkable to Disneyland! You can be at the gates of Disneyland or Disney California Adventure in about 10 minutes. But if your feet are tired (and they will be), the Candy Cane Inn also offers a free private shuttle just for hotel guests. That’s a major win—especially at the end of a long day in the parks.

Rooms: Clean & Comfortable
The rooms are simple but comfortable, with everything you need for a great stay. Mine was clean, quiet, and had great air conditioning—huge during those warmer park days.
There’s plenty of space, and while the decor is more classic than trendy, it feels homey and well maintained. I slept great, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to wind down at night.

Free Breakfast & Parking? Yes, Please!
Another huge bonus: free deluxe continental breakfast is included with your stay! We’re talking pastries, fruit, cereal, toast, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, juice, and more. It’s a perfect way to fuel up before heading to the parks.
And yes—free parking is also included. That’s becoming increasingly rare around Disneyland, so it’s definitely worth noting.
Amenities That Make a Difference
- Pool & hot tub area for relaxing after the parks
- Friendly, helpful staff that really cares about your stay
- On-site gift shop with Disneyland essentials and snacks
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the property
💭 Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a quiet, walkable hotel near Disneyland with great perks and a charming vibe, the Candy Cane Inn is a fantastic option. It’s family-friendly, budget-conscious, and just feels good. It may not have the trendiest decor or brand-new furniture, but it makes up for it with comfort, location, and heart.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely.
