I recently stayed at Castle Inn and Suites near Disneyland. I had stayed here on a family trip to Disneyland back in 2014 and had a good experience, so I was excited to be back! Castle Inn and Suites is within walking distance to the parks! That’s one if it’s best features. It took me about 8 minutes to walk to the parks each morning. The walk was pleasant. I felt very safe, even walking home alone at night because I was surrounded by so many park-goers. Looking for Discount Disneyland tickets for your trip? Check out my partner’s deals here!

Rooms

I stayed in a spacious room with two queen beds and a pull-out couch. The room had a separate area for the pull-out couch and which was nice. The room came with a table with 2 chairs, but it also had a desk and chair, which I appreciated. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The bathroom was spacious and I was happily surprised to find a vanity with a sink just outside the bathroom and another sink/vanity combo inside the bathroom along with the tub/shower and toilet. Having two sinks/mirrors is a game-changer when you’re trying to get a family ready for a day at Disneyland! The tub was a little outdated, but the vanity and mirror were nice and everything was clean.

Pool
I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, I was too busy park hopping! It was simple but clean. I’m sure any child would enjoy it. There are two hot tubs, which is a bonus! I love hitting the hot tub to soak my tired body after a long day at Disneyland.

This and that
Castle Inn and Suites doesn’t offer breakfast, but there is a small gift shop with all kinds of snacks, drinks and breakfast food. I would swing by each morning for a granola bar and a bottle of water. It was very convenient, although it was closed each night I came back to the hotel. The parking is free and there’s lots of room. They have free wifi, which I loved and appreciated. The one complaint I had was there was no water in the vending machines. Not a big deal or a deal-breaker, just a little thing to be aware of. Check out Castle Inn and Suites if you’re looking for an affordable hotel near Disneyland within walking distance. You won’t be disappointed!
