Have you ever had Disney Cake Pops while in the parks? I’m ashamed to admit I had never tried one until just a few months ago! Oh my goodness, I had been missing out! Although they are adorable, I always assumed they wouldn’t have much flavor. Boy was I wrong! I’m happy to report that Disney cake pops are actually delicious(along with being adorable). Add them to your foodie list for your next visit. You won’t be disappointed! Find more Disney copy cat recipes here.

Now that I know how amazing they are, I decided it was absolutely necessary to recreate them at home. I needed to come up with a recipe that was simple, yet delicious. I think I’ve nailed it! These Disney cake pops are simple to make. You don’t even have to bake them. My cake pops come together quickly and can be modified for any occasion.

Step 1:

Soften your cream cheese. Just throw it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds if you don’t want to wait for it to soften on it’s own. Make sure you take it out of the packaging though! No metal in the microwave. Crush up your Oreos. You can use a food processor or you can put them in a ziplock bag and crush then with a rolling pin. Crush them up as finely as you can so you don’t have big lumps in your cake pops.

Step 2:

Add the softened cream cheese and combine with the Oreo crumbs. I use a hand mixer to get the job down quickly! Roll the cake pop dough into balls. You can make them any size you want.

Step 3:

Melt your almond bark according to package directions. Dip your mini Oreos into the almond bark and press them into the balls. If you are using sticks, dip the ends in the almond bark and stick them into the ball. Refriderate the dough for about 30 minutes.

Step 4:

Reheat your almond bark if necessary and dip your cake pops into the almond bark. Make sure to let them drip for a bit before you move them to the sprinkles. I use a spoon to scrape the excess off the bottom. Dip the bottoms in sprinkles and add some extra sprinkles to the top. Store in the refrigerator. You did it! You’re very own Disney cake pops!
