The Short Answer: I Think Disneyland Ticket Prices Could Go Up in October 2026
Disneyland has not announced a 2026 ticket price increase. But if Disney follows the same pattern it has used for the last several years, I think the next increase is most likely to happen in early to mid-October 2026.
Disneyland raised prices on October 11 in both 2022 and 2023, October 9 in 2024, and October 8 in 2025. That does not guarantee another October increase, but the pattern is hard to ignore.
If you know you are visiting before the current tickets expire and you are ready to buy, I would seriously consider purchasing before October. Get Away Today is currently selling discounted Disneyland tickets for travel through January 12, 2027.
When Will Disneyland Raise Ticket Prices Again?
No one outside Disney knows the exact date, and Disneyland can change prices at any time without warning. My best prediction is October 2026, probably during the first half of the month.
Here is why: the last four increases all happened within a three-day window in October.
| Year | Date Disneyland Raised Prices |
|---|---|
| 2022 | October 11 |
| 2023 | October 11 |
| 2024 | October 9 |
| 2025 | October 8 |
Disney does not publish a regular price-increase schedule, so this is still a prediction, not an announcement. I will update this post as soon as Disney changes its prices.
How Much Are Disneyland Tickets Right Now?
As of September 2026, a one-day adult ticket ranges from $104 to $224, depending on the date. Disneyland uses seven pricing tiers for one-day tickets. Busier dates such as weekends and holidays usually cost more.
| 1-Day Ticket Tier | Adult (Ages 10+) | Child (Ages 3–9) |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 0 | $104 | $98 |
| Tier 1 | $129 | $119 |
| Tier 2 | $149 | $139 |
| Tier 3 | $169 | $159 |
| Tier 4 | $184 | $174 |
| Tier 5 | $199 | $189 |
| Tier 6 | $224 | $214 |
Multi-day tickets are not tiered by date. These are Disney’s current standard prices:
| Ticket | Adult 1 Park | Adult Park Hopper | Child 1 Park | Child Park Hopper |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Day | $335 | $435 | $315 | $415 |
| 3-Day | $425 | $535 | $400 | $510 |
| 4-Day | $480 | $600 | $450 | $570 |
| 5-Day | $520 | $655 | $485 | $620 |
Children ages 2 and younger do not need a ticket. Everyone ages 3 and older needs both valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same date and starting park.
What Could Increase Next?
A Disneyland price increase is not always limited to the base ticket. Disney may adjust several parts of a vacation at the same time, including:
- One-day ticket tiers
- Multi-day tickets
- Park Hopper upgrades
- Lightning Lane Multi Pass
- Magic Key annual passes
- Theme park parking
Not every price increases every year. In fact, Disneyland’s least expensive Tier 0 adult ticket has remained $104 since 2019. Disney has mostly raised the higher tiers and other ticket products while keeping that lowest advertised price available on select dates.
How Much Could Disneyland Tickets Increase?
There is no reliable way to predict the exact amount. In 2025, most one-day ticket tiers increased by 5% or less, but the highest tier jumped from $206 to $224. Multi-day tickets and Magic Keys also increased.
Even a small increase adds up quickly for a family. A $10 increase on a four-day ticket for four people is another $40 before you add Park Hopper, Lightning Lane, food, or a hotel. That is why I do not recommend waiting for a possible last-minute sale if you already know you are going.
Should You Buy Disneyland Tickets Before October?
If your trip is already planned and your dates fall within the ticket’s validity window, buying before October is the safest way to protect yourself from a possible increase. Once an eligible ticket is purchased and paid in full, a later general price increase does not make you pay the difference just to use that ticket under its original terms.
Before buying, check the expiration date, refund and change rules, and park reservation availability. A ticket alone does not guarantee admission. If your plans are still very uncertain, flexibility may matter more than rushing to beat a price increase.
My Favorite Place to Buy Discount Disneyland Tickets
I have booked my own Disneyland vacations with Get Away Today for more than 20 years. They are a verified Disneyland Resort ticket partner, and their tickets are often less expensive than buying directly from Disney.
- Discounted tickets: Compare the current price with Disney before you buy.
- Refundable options: Fully unused tickets may be refunded within 365 days for a fee, or without the additional fee when covered by Get Away Today’s Peace of Mind Plan. Always review the terms for your ticket.
- Package savings: Use code MIX10 to save an extra $10 on a Southern California hotel-and-ticket package.
- Travel help: Their team can help with ticket questions and changes.
You can check current Disneyland ticket prices here or call 855-GET-AWAY and tell them Mix In Some Magic sent you.
A Very Important Note About Layaway
Get Away Today offers an interest-free layaway plan with $200 down, but an active layaway plan does not lock in the ticket price. If Disney raises ticket prices before your package is paid in full, the package will automatically reflect the new ticket price. If your main goal is beating a possible increase, you need to pay for the tickets in full before prices change.
Disneyland Ticket Price Increase FAQ
Has Disneyland announced a 2026 ticket price increase?
No. As of September 2, 2026, Disneyland has not announced a new general ticket price increase.
When did Disneyland last raise ticket prices?
Disneyland last raised ticket prices on October 8, 2025.
When are Disneyland ticket prices most likely to go up?
My best estimate is early to mid-October 2026 because Disneyland raised prices during that same period in each of the last four years. Disney can still change prices at any time.
Will my ticket still work if prices increase after I buy it?
Yes, as long as the ticket is valid for your date and you follow its original terms. You will also need a theme park reservation.
Do Disneyland tickets get cheaper later?
Standard prices rarely decrease, but Disneyland sometimes releases limited-time offers for children, Southern California residents, Anaheim residents, or other eligible groups. Compare any available promotion with standard discounted tickets before buying.
Do I have to choose exact dates before buying from Get Away Today?
You will enter a general travel date when purchasing, but regular tickets can usually be linked and reserved later within their validity period. Special-offer tickets have specific travel dates and restrictions, so read those terms carefully.
The Bottom Line
I cannot promise Disneyland will raise ticket prices in October 2026, but four consecutive October increases make it the most likely window. If you already know you are going, your ticket is valid for your trip, and you are ready to pay in full, buying before October could save you money.
I will keep watching for an official announcement and update this page as soon as anything changes.
