Cambria Hotel And Suites Anaheim Resort- Full Review

I recently stayed at Cambria Hotel and Suites Anaheim Resort while I was visiting Disneyland. I love staying at different hotels whenever I visit Disneyland so I can find the best ones and tell you all about them! I loved my visit to Cambria Hotel and Suites Anaheim Resort. This property has a lot of great things to offer, especially for families visiting Disneyland! Who doesn’t love a free full breakfast and a water park? In this post, I’ll cover everything you need to know about Cambria Hotel so you can decide if it’s the right place for your family on your visit to the Disneyland Resort.

Discount Disneyland Tickets

Please be aware, that Disney theme parks all require park tickets and reservations. Make sure you have both! Please don’t pay full price for your Disney tickets or hotel. Location

Cambria Hotel and Suites Anaheim is located about 1 mile from Disneyland. Technically, it’s within walking distance, but it will take around 20-25 minutes. I recommend using the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) Shuttle that picks up in front of the hotel, street side. Current pricing for ART is listed on their website. ART Shuttle tickets can be purchased from the front desk at the Hotel.  The ART is a very convenient way to get to Disneyland. Or, you can also use a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft. It’s a quick 5-minute drive to Disneyland.

If you’re heading to the Anaheim Convention Center, the Cambria Hotel is located about 1 mile away. It will take you about 25 minutes to walk, or you can use ride share or ART to get you there. It will take you about 5 minutes to drive there.

Cambria Hotel and Suites Anaheim is located about 25 minutes from the Santa Ana J. Wayne airport. It’s about 35 minutes from the Long Beach airport. I prefer to fly into one of these airports. It’s so convenient to rent a car or take an Uber or Lyft directly to the Cambria Hotel. You can also book a shuttle. I recommend the Karmel shuttle. Or, you could rent a car if you prefer.

You can fly into Los Angeles International airport, but it is much further away. Plan on it taking you about 90 minutes to 2 hours depending on traffic.

Rooms

The rooms at the Cambria Hotel are perfect for families or those with larger groups! They offer standard rooms and family suites. The rooms are spacious and clean. Some of them even have mini kitchens! This property has bunk beds, that will be perfect for your little ones! Each room also has two separate showers(one with a tub) that makes getting ready for the day with a family quick and easy! The beds are so comfortable and the decor really adds a modern, relaxing touch. Access to the water park is included with your stay if you book through Get Away Today.

Pool/Water Park

If you’re looking to add some fun to your Disneyland vacation, the Cambria Hotel is a great place to stay! Your whole family will love the 30.000 square-foot water park! The pool area includes one large outdoor pool, one shallow entry kid’s pool, an oversized, outdoor hot tub, a splash pad, two water slides, a movie wall, a sports court, ample seating with firepits, and an outdoor bar. The water is heated, so you can enjoy the water park year round! It’s the perfect addition to your family vacation!

Please note, all guests must meet a minimum height requirement of 44 inches to ride the water slides.

Amenities

Cambria Hotel and Suites Anaheim has some amazing amenities! In addition to the water park, there are lots of other great resort-style amenities offered here that hotel guests will love.

Movie Wall

Enjoy a nightly movie on the giant outdoor movie wall! You can watch from the pool or from one of the many chaise lounge chairs poolside. All the outdoor movies are family-friendly. You can find a movie schedule posted at the front desk and in all of the elevators or just ask the friendly front desk staff which movies will be showing while you’re visiting.

Outdoor Space

There’s a great outdoor space you’ll want to make time to enjoy on your visit! You’ll find several fire pits located on the outdoor patio. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a long day of fun at the Disneyland Parks or a full day of enjoying the water park. They also have a small basketball court and a putting green.

Sundry Shop

Cambria Hotel has a small sundry shop in the lobby that has anything you may have forgotten. They also carry a variety of snacks, treats, and cold beverages.

Fitness Center

If you’re one of those people who enjoy working out while on vacation, you’ll love the fitness center at the Cambria Hotel and Suites Anaheim Resort. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and has a variety of cardio, strength, and weight training equipment available.

Laundry

If you need to do any laundry, you’ll find a self-serve laundry room conveniently located on the property. Washers, dryers, and soap dispensers are activated by credit cards/smartphone payment systems. Coins are not needed/accepted.

Dining Options

There are so many dining options to choose from at Cambria Hotel Anaheim! It’s one of my favorite things about the property. I don’t know about you, but I love a free full breakfast! I’m a sucker for Mickey waffles. The Cambria has about 10 mickey waffle makers for you to use! I was in heaven.

Free, Hot Breakfast

Enjoy free, hot breakfast each morning of your stay! In addition to the famous Mickey Mouse waffles, you can choose from a variety of hot options, cereals(hot and cold), breakfast pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Such a great way to start your day and a great way to save money for families.

On-Site Dining

If you’re looking for something to eat on site, check out Splash Lounge, Beverages, and Bites. You can choose from a variety of delicious food and cocktails.

Off-Site Dining

Located just outside the front door of the Cambria Hotel you’ll find a bunch of great dining options! Choose from California Fish Grill, Yogurtland, Jersey Mike’s, Habit Burger, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Luna Grill or Starbucks. It’s so nice to have so many yummy options sharing a parking lot with your hotel!

Parking

Self-parking is available for $28 + tax per day with in/out privileges. If you book your stay with Get Away Today, parking is only $15 per day! Oversized vehicles and bus parking is not available without prior arrangement.

As you can see, there’s so much to love about Cambria Hotel and Suites Anaheim Resort! Their hotel rooms are great and the double showers are game changers for busy families! The water park is so fun and your kids will love the outdoor movies! I absolutely love the free breakfast buffet and daydream about the Mickey Mouse waffles on a daily basis. I’m also a huge fan of all the fast-causal dining options located right in their parking lot! It’s so convenient to be able to grab a quick dinner or snack right in the parking lot of your hotel!
