Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini-Suites- Full Review

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini-Suites. I’ve had my eye on this hotel for years and I finally got to stay here! The reason I’ve been so excited about this Anaheim hotel is the location. It is literally right across the street from the Disneyland theme parks main pedestrian entrance! This means that the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini-Suites is the very closest hotel to the Disneyland resort.

So, you can see why it’s such an attractive property. The location is great, but I was also impressed with the rest of the property! We have six people in our family and booked one of the mini suites. This was perfect for our large family. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Discount Disneyland Tickets

Keep in mind that park tickets and park reservations are required to enter the Disneyland resort. Please don’t pay full price for your park tickets! Location

The location of the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini-Suites can’t be beat! It’s right across the street from the main entrance to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. I felt like I was on the doorsteps of Disneyland resort! I timed the walk to Disneyland and it was 2-3 minutes depending on how long we had to wait for the traffic light to cross the street. You really can’t get any closer to Disneyland. I love being able to walk over to the parks in the morning.

It’s such a convenient location for a mid-day break! You can run back to your room for a nice nap or swim in the pool. Then, at the end of the day, while everyone is exhausted and waiting on their hotel shuttle or Uber driver, you’ll walk for 2 minutes and be back in your room! It’s pretty dreamy.

Best Western Park Place Inn is located 15 miles from the John Wayne Airport. That’s the airport I prefer to fly into when we visit Disneyland. The Long Beach airport is also very close. It’s located 21 miles from this hotel. Either airport is a great option and just a quick drive away from the Disneyland Resort.

If you’ll be visiting other areas in Anaheim, this property is about a 20-minute walk(or a 5-minute drive) from the Anaheim Convention Center.

It’s about a 14-minute walk(a 4-minute drive) from the Anaheim Gardenwalk.

I found that our room was clean and very comfortable. The beds were nice and the room was spacious mini- suites were perfect for our family of six!

Swimming Pool

The Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini-Suites has a small heated outdoor pool and a hot tub. The pool is nothing fancy, but it will be perfect for kids who are interested in swimming during your Disneyland vacation. My kids are older and were much more interested in spending time at Disneyland than they were in swimming in the pool.

Free Breakfast

I love a free hotel breakfast! A free hotel breakfast is pretty hard to find at hotels near Disneyland. I was so happy to find that the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini-Suites offered one! This is much more than a free continental breakfast! They had so many great options! Hot foods like pancakes, eggs, and potatoes along with cereal, breakfast pastries, fruit, and more! It was much more than I was expecting from a complimentary breakfast and my whole family love it. This free hot breakfast is the cherry on top of this great property!

Dining Options

There are quite a few dining options near the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini-suites. There’s a Cold Stone Creamery right next door. Denny’s and Tony Roma’s are just a few minutes down the road. There’s also a Mcdonald’s, and Panera Bread Company within close walking distance.

Parking

There is a self parking lot on this property. Parking is a nominal fee of $15 per night valid until 3 pm day of departure. There is one parking space available per room. No RV’S or trailers are allowed.
