When I tell you that the Disneyland Churro Sundae is hands down my absolute favorite treat at Disneyland, I’m not exaggerating. I mean it. With every bite, it’s like a little piece of magic. It’s the perfect combination of warm, cinnamon-sugary churros, creamy ice cream, and rich, drizzled chocolate sauce. I’ve thought about it so much that I’ve even had dreams about this treat! If you’ve ever had the pleasure of trying the Churro Sundae at Disneyland, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Churro Sundae in a cup

Unfortunately, this amazing treat isn’t available year-round. The Churro Sundae is a seasonal offering, and it’s typically only available at Disneyland during Halloween time. For a limited period, if you’re lucky enough to be at the park during the spooky season, you can find this beauty inside The Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. Trust me, if you’re visiting Disneyland during Halloween, you won’t want to miss it. I am sad to tell you, that I haven’t seen it at Disneyland in a few years.

But here’s the good news: just because the Churro Sundae is a seasonal item at the parks doesn’t mean you have to wait for Halloween to enjoy it. I’ve created a Disneyland Churro Sundae copycat recipe that you can make at home anytime! That’s right—now you can indulge in this delicious treat without having to hop on a plane or wait for fall. Whether you’re craving it on a summer afternoon or need a sweet pick-me-up in the winter, this recipe is here to save the day.
