Alright, fellow Jedi apprentices and Sith lords-in-training, buckle up because we’re about to dive headfirst into the galaxy of Star Wars-themed attractions and experiences awaiting you during Season of the Force at Disneyland. 

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue: If you’ve ever dreamt of hopping aboard a speeding StarSpeeder and zooming through the far reaches of the galaxy, then this is the attraction for you. With multiple destinations to explore and a cast of familiar faces (and some not-so-familiar ones), every ride on Star Tours is different! New experiences with iconic characters and locations from the Star Wars Saga are being added this year! I’m excited to check out the new adventures!

Hyperspace Mountain: Blast off into the heart of a galactic battle between the Rebel Alliance and the evil Empire. Picture this: you’re hurtling through space at warp speed, dodging TIE fighters and laser blasts left and right. It’s an adrenaline rush and a must-do for any aspiring rebel pilot. I love this high-speed space mountain overlay! 

Rise Of The Resistance: Join the Resistance in a climatic battle against the First Order! This is a must-do attraction for any Star Wars fan. Don’t leave Galaxy’s Edge without riding it!

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run: Ride in the famous cockpit of the Millennium Falcon on a daring flight. Whether you’re a pilot, engineer, or gunner, every role is crucial, but being the pilot is the most fun!

Get ready to be wowed because Season of the Force at Disneyland isn’t just about heart-pounding and mind-blowing attractions—it’s also about the jaw-dropping entertainment and character interactions that’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped right into the Star Wars saga!

Fire Of The Rising Moons: New this Season at the Disneyland Resort is Fire Of The Rising Moons. On select nights, enjoy fireworks from Batuu!

​Seek and Find: Locate coded cylinders hidden throughout Black Spire Outpost to uncover a code word and receive a themed keepsake.

How it works:

  1. Head to The Star Trader in Tomorrowland to pick up a map and start your mission.
  2. Travel to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and seek out 6 coded cylinders hidden throughout Black Spire Outpost. Using the map, take note of the symbols inscribed on each cylinder.
  3. Journey back to Tomorrowland, locate the decoder signs and use the symbols to decipher the letters.
  4. Decrypt your mission’s code word using the decoded letters.
  5. Report back to The Star Trader and present your completed map and code word to receive a special keepsake that commemorates your mission.

Season of the Force also offers plenty of opportunities to rub elbows with your favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away. Whether you’re sharing a laugh with Chewbacca, chatting up some Storm Troopers, meeting Mando and Grogu, or posing for a selfie with Darth Vader (watch out for that Force choke!), meeting the stars of the Star Wars saga is an experience you won’t soon forget.

Let’s start with an overview of the menu during Season of the Force. From themed snacks that’ll satisfy your cravings faster than you can say, “Chewie, we’re home,” to full-blown meals for a hungry Wookiee, there’s something for every appetite in the galaxy.

Galactic Grill: Located in Tomorrowland. Special for Season of the Force: 

  • (New) Bantha Burger: Angus beef and vegetable patty, marinated pork belly, American cheese, Asian-inspired slaw, and sambal sweet mayo on a toasted brioche bun
  • Chorizo Loaded Fries: Waffle fries, pork chorizo, chile de arbol cheese sauce, and black beans topped with avocado-tomatillo sauce, green onions, and Oaxaca cheese

First, be sure to watch for special photo locations scattered throughout the park, where you can strike a pose with life-size replicas of starships, droids, and more. And don’t be afraid to get creative with your poses—whether you’re wielding a lightsaber like a true Jedi or giving your best Chewbacca roar, the sky’s the limit when capturing that perfect shot.

But wait, there’s more! Season of the Force also offers plenty of opportunities to meet and interact with your favorite characters from the Star Wars saga. Just be sure to have your camera or smartphone ready to capture the moment because you never know when the Force will be with you (and your Instagram feed).

New this year, aspiring bounty hunters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can join the search for Boba Fett, Grogu, and more with a holopuck Magic Shot from Disney PhotoPass Service. Are you ready to channel your inner Jedi or Sith? We’re about to dive into the ultimate after-hours experience: Star Wars Nite at Disneyland! Picture this:

  • You’ve got the entire park practically to yourself (well, almost).

This nighttime experience is one of a kind!

Let’s discuss what makes Star Wars Nite so special. First, it’s your chance to immerse yourself in the Star Wars universe like never before, with exclusive entertainment, attractions, and experiences that are sure to make you feel like a true hero of the Rebellion (or maybe even a sneaky agent of the Empire).

From thrilling nighttime rides on Hyperspace Mountain to epic dance parties with galactic music, there’s no shortage of after-hours fun at Star Wars Nite. And let’s not forget about the unique character meet-and-greets, where you can rub elbows with everyone from Jedi knights to bounty hunters and snap epic selfies to prove it. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be bounding as their favorite Star Wars characters!

There’s also themed food! We can’t forget about that. 

Star Wars Nite will be held at Disneyland Park on April 16, 18, 23, 25, and 30 and May 2, 7, and 9, 2024. This is a special event that requires separate event tickets. The party lasts from 9:00pm to 1:00am, but you can enter the park at 6:00pm with your event ticket.

So, whether you’re a die-hard Star Wars fan looking to take your love for the saga to the next level or simply in the mood for a night of intergalactic adventure, Star Wars Nite at Disneyland promises to be an experience you won’t forget. So grab your lightsaber, rally your friends, and get ready to party like it’s a galaxy far, far away!

Tips for Navigating Season of the Force

If you’re gearing up for a trip to Disneyland during Season of the Force, buckle up because I’ve got some insider tips and tricks to help you navigate the galaxy of excitement and make the most of your epic journey.

First things first, let’s talk about managing crowds. Disneyland crowds can feel daunting, but with a bit of strategy and patience, you can conquer even the busiest of days at Disneyland. My advice? Arrive early, make sure you rope drop, and use one of my touring plans to skip the longest lines.
