Enjoy The Entertainment

Disneyland has some wonderful entertainment that’s included with the cost of your park ticket. Take advantage of it! Grab a dole whip and hang out in the Tiki Room for a while. Catch a parade or enjoy the fireworks. Listen to the Dapper Dans sing on Main Street or enjoy the Flag retreat ceremony at the end of the day. There are so many things to do that aren’t rides. This is great news when visiting Disneyland while pregnant.

Take It Slow

Rushing through Disneyland while pregnant is just going to make you miserable! Slowing down and having a more relaxed day is a good idea. Make a plan in advance and study a park map so you don’t have to add unnessaccary walking to your day. Give yourself extra time to get to dining reservations or Lightning Lanes.

You may move a bit slower, especially as the day goes on. If you’re feeling exhausted or suffering from morning sickness and need to lie down, head to the first aid center. They have cots inside for you to rest on if needed.

Stay Hydrated

Staying hydrated is so important for all pregnant mamas! It’s especially important when visiting Disneyland while pregnant. You’ll want to bring a reusable water bottle with you and keep it filled. Even if it’s not hot, make sure you’re drinking plenty of fluid. This can also help reduce potential swelling. You can ask a cast member for a free cup of ice water at any of the quick-service dining locations.

Take Breaks

Make sure you take lots of breaks and listen to your body. It might be helpful to stay at a nearby hotel so you can take a mid-day nap. Even if you stay in the parks the whole day, make sure you’re taking time to rest. Find a place with air conditioning to put up your feet and relax each day of your Disney vacation. See if you can get your family members to rub your feet! They’ll probably say “no”, but it’s worth a shot!

Use The Disneyland App

The Disneyland app is a great tool that will be helpful to you on your Disney trip. From the app, you can mobile order food, check wait times and even find your favorite characters. You can use it to book your Lighting Lanes, check show times, and even find the closest bathroom. I’ve found it to be incredibly helpful, especially for visiting Disneyland while pregnant.

Disneyland is such a magical place, and it can still be fun if you’re visiting while pregnant. Some expectant moms prefer to wait until after their baby is born to visit the happiest place on earth. Waiting is a good option for lots of women. But, if you do decide to visit Disneyland while pregnant, I hope this guide was helpful for you and helped you find the best rides and attractions at Disneyland while pregnant.
