Mickey Mouse Rice Krispie Treats Ingrediants
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 package Mini Marshmallows(10oz)
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
- 6 Cups Rice Krispie Treats Cereal
- 1 Package Chocolate Almond Bark
- 1 Package Mini M&Ms Candy Pieces
Step 1:
First, Prepare the rice krispies treats. Butter a 9 x 13 dish. Melt you butter in a heavy bottomed pan on medium low heat. Add your marshmallows and stir until they are melted. Remove from the heat and add vanilla and rice krispies. Stir until combined. Press the cereal mixture into your prepared pan. I put my hand in a zip lock baggie and press the treats into place. This makes this step quick and easy!
Step 2:
While your rice krispies cool, Heat up your chocolate almond bark according to package instructions. I buy my almond bark at Walmart in the baking aisle. You can also find it here. You won’t need the whole package. 1/2 should be about right.
Step 3:
Once your rice krispies are cool, cut them into Mickey shapes using a cookie cutter. I really like this one. It’s perfect for cutting rice krispies. If you don’t have a Mickey shaped cookie cutter, you can cut them into squares or any other shape you like.
Step 4:
Using a spoon, spread the chocolate almond bark on top the the cut cereal treat. Immediately sprinkle it with mini M&Ms. Continue the process with all the rice krispie treats. Then, drizzle extra chocolate over the M&Ms. Don’t skip this step! It helps hold the M&Ms in place and gives it a fancy look. Enjoy your Mickey Mouse Rice Krispie Treats!
